Dentistry for the whole family

Legacy Ridge Dentistry provides services to both adults and children. Dr. Brotherton takes exceptional care of all of his patients, as if they were his own family. Cosmetic Dentistry

We provide a wide variety of various cosmetic treatments aimed to produce a bright, healthy, white smile. Whether you are in need of general cleanings, teeth whitening, veneers, or in need of a more detailed cosmetic procedure, Dr. Nolan and his staff will pay you the undivided attention you deserve and make sure you understand your options when going over your dental treatment.

Conservative Gum Treatments

Gum disease occurs when bacteria gets below the gumline resulting in the loss of attachment between the gums and teeth. The bone around the tooth will recede and possibly result in the loss of a tooth or teeth. To prevent further decay/receding of the gumline, causing possible tooth loss, Legacy Ridge utilizes techniques known as scaling or root smoothing.

Custom Set Dentures and Partial Dentures

When a patient no longer has any natural teeth, complete dentures are the traditional method to restore function and appearance. Many patients experience difficulty wearing conventional dentures because of poor stability and decreased chewing function. Ensuring a true fit to your mouth, is key to keeping your dentures secured and healthy.

Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers

Crowns, bridges, or veneers are used in place of where natural teeth may have been, or are, but not in the best condition. Crowns and bridges refer to the re-design and restoration of gaps or missing/decayed teeth. Crowns are caps that sit over previously decaying teeth that no longer serve proper function, while bridges are restored sections of missing teeth to restore function to your mouth.

White Teeth Fillings

Fillings are are designed for teeth that have decayed or cracked, that are usually causing pain or reduced functionality of a tooth all together. A silver composite was used for teeth fillings, but a more modern tooth colored composite is now used to best match the rest of your teeth.

Teeth Whitening

All of our patients are entitled to a white, glowing smile. We offer free teeth whitening to all patients, with the completion of exam, x-rays, and cleaning- and continue to do so with continued visits. Teeth whitening simply improves your smile's radiant glow, removing most discoloration and enhancing dull/darkened areas.

Root Canal Therapy

A treatment for the pulp of a tooth which results in the elimination of infection and protection of the decontaminated tooth from future bacteria invasion. Root canals, considered a 'painful' experience, is actually quite painless when done correctly. Legacy Ridge understands not everyone's thrilled about going to the dentist, but our added care and attention we provide our patients will make you feel more comfortable.

Emergency Appointments

Oral pain can often times be debilitating and prevent you from carrying on your day to day activities. We understand the need to fix the pain that may be caused by a cracked tooth, bleeding gumline, or otherwise painful experience- which is why we offer in most cases the ability to schedule an appointment the same day your emergency occurs.

Implants

If you have suffered tooth loss, one of the options you may want to consider to replace your missing tooth/teeth is dental implants. Dental implants are posts or frames that is surgically inserted into your jawbone to replace the root of your tooth. We can then affix a replacement tooth on top of the implant(s), providing a stable base for an artificial tooth. Dental implants are an alternative to bridges and dentures for people who have suffered tooth loss from things such as injury, tooth loss as a result of tooth decay, or tooth loss as a result of periodontal disease (gum disease).

Orthodontics

TMJ and Migraine Therapy

Oral splints or mouth guards (occlusal appliances). Often, people with jaw pain will benefit from wearing a soft or firm device inserted over their teeth

Injections for TMJ pain. In some people, injecting botulinum toxin type A (Botox, others) into the jaw muscles used for chewing may relieve pain associated with TMJ disorders.

Botox injections for Migraines. In a study of adults who get chronic migraine headaches, shots of Botox cut down the total number of days they had them or even other types of headaches. They also had more "crystal-clear" -- pain-free -- days each month, and they reported fewer days off work.

Doctors think Botox works for migraine headaches because it blocks chemicals called neurotransmitters that carry pain signals from your brain. Botox is like a roadblock in that pathway. It stops the chemicals before they get to the nerve endings around your head and neck. Also, Botox causes relaxation of facial muscles injected that may be the source of migraine pain.
